Jjimjilbang Experience @ Silloam Fire Pot Sauna

Huehuehuehuehueheuhue my first Jjimjilbang experience! :O

My excitement to go to a jjimjilbang was greatly diminished however, because we were actually in a great big rush to actually sleep. We got a bit lost while finding the Jjimjilbang, going out the wrong way before spotting the building on the other side .__.

Nevertheless, we found it and checked in.

Seems like the price increased from the one stated on the tourism website. It said 13,000 won there, but it’s been increased to 15,000 won for overnight stay. The bottom row of the prices seen above is for shower only without access to the common area. Haha. That’s a very expensive shower.

After making payment, we made our way in and took out our shoes and put them into empty shoe closets. We then took the keys for the shoe lockers and passed them to the lady at the counter, who then traded it for a locker key, clothes and two towels. Then it was time to find our locker and start stripping in front of the world LOLOL.

There was a little awkwardness between me and Zenn at first but decided to just forget about it and just strip cuz it was past midnight and we had to go airport at 530am the next day ._. So we stripped and with the teeny tiny towel we headed down to the public bath area.

It’s not my first time at a public bath so i wasn’t really surprised. There were several shower areas wehre you can sit on a stool and just utilize their facilities. They’ve got soap shampoo conditioner etc. After that, we headed to soak in on of he hot baths. It was really really nice to just sit there and close your ryes hahaha. I left first and went back up to the changing room. When i put on my clothes and sat on the bench, it felt really nice like your body would be buzzing with warmth~~~

We bought some eggs and drinks and headed up to the rest area. There are a lot of floors. There are gender separated areas but we went to the common one with the ‘themed’ rooms. I’m not sure what to call them ahahah.

The oxygen room! I like this room best although it was a little warm, but for some reason when I went it I felt really comfortable and almost fell asleep on the spot. I guess i may sound exaggerated if I say i could breathe easier which was why i almost fell asleep instantly, hahahaha, but it really did feel comfortable!! 🙂

A little dark, but that’s me lying down in the oxygen room. I made myself NOT sleep so that I could explore the other rooms hahaha.

In the end we settled in the charcoal room since it was the coolest of them all~ it was a really nice sleep although it was brief and we woke up early.

Overall a pleasant experience at Silloam! 🙂
