Second part of the Osaka post, this time focusing on sightseeing, things to do and some shopping! Osaka is a huge city so it’s going to be pretty different from what you get from Kyoto, but nevertheless there’s tons of things to see!

Japan: Osaka food in 3 days
Famously nicknamed Japan’s kitchen, Osaka is a haven for the food lovers. In fact, we didn’t quite have enough days to cover all the food we wanted and had to cramp some of them into one meal’s worth most of the time haha. And because there’s so much good food in this post, I’m putting things to do in Osaka as a separate post. 😀
Japan: Day Trip to Kobe
Naturally the first association that comes to mind for Kobe would be Kobe beef, or the basketball player, and I’d have to say it’s a worthy association indeed. Continue reading
Japan: Day Trip to Nara
Nara is easily defined by the super huge and famous deer park, where you are free to roam with deers, take photos of them and feed them. There’s a lot of trust between the visitors and the deers who are almost domesticated due to the frequency of interaction with humans.
Japan: Kyoto in 2 days
Hi everyone! After my very unenthusiastic end to Europe’s posts, I’m making a comeback with a country I’m pretty much in love with. The BF and I spent a week in Japan recently while I was on my two-week break before starting my new job, and he took leave to accompany me at it. Yay!
UK: Day Trip to Oxford
A day trip was in the talk since Termanda was going to the stadium tour and we had nothing much to do. We were planning to meet up with Ron and go on a day trip but in the end we were both simply too far away to really meet up in a day 😦 So I sent her a gift from Greece and we didn’t meet in the end.
London D5 – Warner Bros Studio Tour (Harry Potter)
I think I’m kidding myself by forcing myself to post detailed accounts of Europe, to be frank, it’s already been a year LOL and I’m updating at crawling speed! Ridiculous! Feeling obliged to write about something is one of the things I have always despised, because it distracts from the purpose of writing in the first place (that I actually enjoy writing). It’s time for me to make space for this blog to start hosting things I actually love and for me to share my thoughts and all as I used to before. I do intend to fast track the remaining countries (Italy and France) to capture only the highlights that were really memorable for me, but this post deserves a special mention as it’s about the Harry Potter studios tour which is very important!!
Taiwan D6 | Chilling at the Secret Starbucks
Featured in this post:
Things to see/do: Starbucks @ Taipei 101, Eslite Bookstore
Things to eat: Formosa Chang Lu Rou Fan
This post is part of a week long Taiwan trip.
This was our very final full day in Taiwan which was really bittersweet 😦 I enjoyed Taiwan so much that it was hard to say bye to such a wonderful city.
London D3 | Experiencing the city life
Featured in this post:
Things to see/do: Old Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane
Things to eat: Hawksmoor (steak), Full stop. (cafe), Shoryu (ramen)
Others: Ladsbroke (betting)
This post is part of a 1-month Europe trip.
We took Day 3 slightly easier than the previous day, wanting to experience the city for what it is. Termanda had gone on a Manchester Stadium Tour so it was just me, the BF and Ying Neng who was also in London.
Taiwan D5 | Taroko National Park
Anyone who has visited Taiwan would most likely agree that a day trip to Taroko National Park is well worth it for fans of natural sightseeing. In fact, some would likely recommend going Taroko for more than a day because of the travel time needed from Taipei, something we kinda suffered from later on.
