London D2 – Getting to know London

We started our first official full day in London with a walking tour that we found online. This walking tour is free, with the idea that they won’t make you pay for something you are not sure you’d like. At the end of the tour, you’re free to give as little or as much tip as you want to the tour guide.

Taiwan D4 | Yehliu Geopark & Ximending

4th day of adventure in Taipei! We decided we would part ways again today with Zhiq planning to go back to Tamsui Old Street because she forgot to collect the Hello Kitty souvenirs she ordered that afternoon before we went to Fisherman’s Wharf. Hahaha. Because we took the bus back from Fisherman’s Wharf we didn’t go by Tamsui Old Market again at night and completely forgot.

London D1 | Burgers & Lobsters

The last day in Santorini was spent just enjoying breakfast and appreciating the last of the beautiful island before getting ready to go to the airport to catch our flight to London. Right before leaving the weather got pretty hot which was kinda ugh because that would have been the perfect weather to enjoy Santorini. Damn!!

Taiwan D3 | Taipei Zoo, Maokong and Yongkang Street

D3 started with another gloomy day. We had a long day ahead of us today so we kicked off with a nice warm brunch – beef noodles! It’s called Yong-Kang Beef Noodle located near the popular Yongkang street area. We found this online and wanted to give it a shot.

Europe Pt.2 | Santorini D3 – Red Beach & Kamari Beach

Phew it has been rather hectic these days so I haven’t gotten around to updating. I’m so way behind time (almost a year late!) but I’m determined to get this done!

On our third day for Santorini, we went on a road trip to the beaches around town. We decided to rent a car since it was nearly the same as renting two ATVs (if I recall correctly, it was 60 Euros for one car which was good for four people). Plus the sun was merciless!

Taiwan D2 | National Palace Museum, Tamsui Old Street, Fisherman’s Wharf and Shilin Night Market

We planned D2 to be slightly more slack than the previous day, so it was a good time for me to embark on my solo museum trip. I didn’t actually realize it was the day till the morning when Zhiq told me ‘Shouldn’t you be going to your museum’ and I just realized that I should be getting ready. The initial plan some more was to set out really early and by that time it was 10+. So I quickly got ready and left the house.

Euro Trip Pt.2 | Santorini D2 | Boat Tour

Our itinerary for the second day was the boat tour! There are plenty of tour services around so have a look and take plenty of pamphlets for comparison. I’m glad we did this because it brought us to many places we wouldn’t be able to access otherwise. These were the places we visited:

• Santorini Volcano
• Hot Springs
• Thirasia
• Oia

The tour ends in Oia and it’s free and easy after that.

Taiwan D1 | Jiu Fen, Jinguashi, Shi Fen, Shi Da Night Market

After arriving to our accoms late the night before, we intended to keep Day 1 rather easy and keep the more tiring days for the latter part of the week. Felt like we underestimated our itinerary though LOL. We decided to go 4 places – Jiu Fen, Jinguashi, Shi Fen and Shida Night Market, sorta thinking that since they were all near each other shouldn’t be hard. Plus they don’t require THAT much walking… right?

Euro Trip Pt. 2 | Santorini – D1

The hype about this place is no joke. Google it and you’ll see a mass of blue and white images that look heavenly.

When we went in late April, it was still a little chilly for our liking. Would have been nicer if it was warm summer-y but oh wells not complaining here.

Taiwan Day 0 | Arriving at Taipei

I am so hyped to write about Taiwan because I enjoyed myself so much! It was the perfect time to get away for timely self-reflection/relaxation, and Taiwan had proven itself to be an ultra charming place for that.
