This was our very final full day in Taiwan which was really bittersweet 😦 I enjoyed Taiwan so much that it was hard to say bye to such a wonderful city.

Taiwan D5 | Taroko National Park

Anyone who has visited Taiwan would most likely agree that a day trip to Taroko National Park is well worth it for fans of natural sightseeing. In fact, some would likely recommend going Taroko for more than a day because of the travel time needed from Taipei, something we kinda suffered from later on.

Taiwan D4 | Yehliu Geopark & Ximending

4th day of adventure in Taipei! We decided we would part ways again today with Zhiq planning to go back to Tamsui Old Street because she forgot to collect the Hello Kitty souvenirs she ordered that afternoon before we went to Fisherman’s Wharf. Hahaha. Because we took the bus back from Fisherman’s Wharf we didn’t go by Tamsui Old Market again at night and completely forgot.

Taiwan D2 | National Palace Museum, Tamsui Old Street, Fisherman’s Wharf and Shilin Night Market

We planned D2 to be slightly more slack than the previous day, so it was a good time for me to embark on my solo museum trip. I didn’t actually realize it was the day till the morning when Zhiq told me ‘Shouldn’t you be going to your museum’ and I just realized that I should be getting ready. The initial plan some more was to set out really early and by that time it was 10+. So I quickly got ready and left the house.

Taiwan D1 | Jiu Fen, Jinguashi, Shi Fen, Shi Da Night Market

After arriving to our accoms late the night before, we intended to keep Day 1 rather easy and keep the more tiring days for the latter part of the week. Felt like we underestimated our itinerary though LOL. We decided to go 4 places – Jiu Fen, Jinguashi, Shi Fen and Shida Night Market, sorta thinking that since they were all near each other shouldn’t be hard. Plus they don’t require THAT much walking… right?
